Homework
Homework is due the following day, first thing in the morning, unless otherwise noted here! Students will miss recess if their homework is not turned in first thing in the morning. You will be notified if they have to miss recess due to not having their homework in on time. We have a packed schedule this year with 10-11:10 take up with specials and band from 12:10-12:45 every day! The amount of homework should not be horrible, but keep in mind, my teaching the lesson and supporting the students in understanding the new concepts is what is most important to me. Therefore, if we do not have time to do homework in class, it will be sent home, and is still do the next day. I try my hardest to give the kids time to get some work done in class, but with our tight schedule, some days we may just get the lesson finished and not have time for
working. Please be sure to check the planners nightly so you are aware of homework and missing work! Also, check this site for homework assignments.
