Reading: Read 30 minutes (LOG)
(record the title of the book and pages read on your Reading Log, parent's please sign to verify your student read for 1/2 hour).
Spelling: Five new words, copied from your personal spelling list onto a Word Study Sheet. Parents please check your student's words to make sure the words are spelled correctly. We want to study correctly spelled words only. Complete the Spelling Study procedures with your words. Due tomorrow.
Tuesday
Reading: Read a book for at least a half hour (record the title of the book and pages read on your Reading Log, parent's please sign to verify your student read for at least 1/2 hour).
Spelling: Use the Word Study Procedure (in your Spelling Folder) to study your words for this week.
Wednesday
Reading: Read a book for at least a half hour (record the title of the book and pages read on your Reading Log, parent's please sign to verify your student read for at least 1/2 hour).
Reread the Student Anthology selection "Egypt"
Spelling: Use the Word Study Procedure to study your five words. Test Tomorrow.
Thursday
Reading: Read a book for at least a half hour (record the title of the book and pages read on your Reading Log, parent's please sign to verify your student read for at least 1/2 hour). Reading Logs are due tomorrow with signatures to verify your reading this week.
Reading Journal due tomorrow.
