Homework
Ms. Peterson has the patience and perserverance to update our classes daily homework on her web page. Thank you, Ms. P!
Assigning homework encompasses many factors. Did the student successfully complete today's lesson outcome? Does the student completely understand the standard from today's lesson?
For these reasons homework is a fluid component of our everyday instruction.
The students are responsible for recording their homework daily in their planners. Once they have recorded the homework from the board I sign each student's planner. If a student is absent he/she will have additional time to complete assigned homework once he/she returns to class.
Sixth grade has an average of 60 minutes of homework nightly. This does not include independently reading for 20-30 minutes nightly.
To find out the current day's homework you may email me or call the classroom.
