Science
We teach the following Foss Kit Based Science programs:
* Organisms: In this unit, students explore the similarities and differences between plants and animals. Through their experiences, students are introduced to concepts, skills, and attitudes.
* Solids and Liquids:Students will understand the processes of scientific investigation and design, conduct and communicate about, and evaluate such investigations. They will also know and understand common properties, forms, and changes in matter and energy. Students will understand that science involves a particular way of knowing and understanding common connections among scientific disciplines.
* Air and Weather: This kit introduces students to the interactions of air, water, and the energy we call weather. They observe and monitor the weather with their senses and weather instruments.
Social Studies
We use the Harcourt: Horizons2003 Edition
