Our First Annual
Elementary Culinary Competition
Sponsored by Cheyenne Mountain School District 12 Wellness Committee and SodexoSchool Food Service
4th, 5th and 6th Grade Students
Students are invited to submit healthy snack recipes. Eight finalists will be chosen from theDistrict to participate in a cook-off in the kitchen at the Junior High School. They will actually prepare, and displaythe finished product. A Sodexo chefwill be present to help and give advice. Judges will be present to select the top three recipes. The judges will consider ease of preparation,healthy ingredients, presentation and taste. The eight finalists will receive medals and a prize withadditional prizes given to the top three finalists. Recipes will be compiledinto a cookbook for students, parents and staff.
Recipes must be submitted to the School Kitchen
Office by March 12th, 2010.
Finalists will be selected by March 17th, 2010.
Cooking competition will be held
April 7th, 2010 at 3:30 p.m.
