Cheyenne Mountain High School takes pride in scholastic excellence!
- 90% of the Cheyenne Mountain High School 2009 graduates are attending colleges and universities.
- Cheyenne Mountain High School was recently selected as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. This is a prestigious national award received by only two high schools in Colorado, and only 37 high schools across the country.
- Over $11,000,000 in scholarships offered to 2009 graduates.
- Cheyenne Mountain High School was home to 6 National Merit Finalists and 13 Commended Scholars in the 2009 National Merit® Scholarship Program.
- In May 2009, 385 students took 847 Advanced Placement exams in 26 different course offerings. 81% of all AP Tests administered scored a 3 or higher on a 5 point scale.
Colorado Student Assessment Program
Colorado students are assessed once a year in order to measure their performance on state academic content standards, using the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP). Based on these scores, Cheyenne Mountain High School earned an Academic Performance Rating of Excellent.
