Cross-Country

7th & 8th Grade Boys

Boys' Cross Country: Practice will begin on August 11th at 3:00 and go until about 4:00.  For the first week, we will only practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Starting August 18th, we will practice every day from 3:00 to 4:00.  Wear a comfortable pair of running shoes (Boulder Running Company has a great selection and great service, including having you run on a treadmill to match your shoes with your running form) and bring a bottle of water.  To prepare for the season, try to run/bike at least 3 days per week over the summer.  Our races during the season will be 1.5 miles, but we will run considerably farther than that most days.  I can't wait for another great season of running the trails!  -Coach B

Girls' Cross Country: Practice will begin on August 11th at 3:00.  We will practice every day from 3:00 to about 4:15.  Please meet in Ms. Reaves' room #102.  All runners must have a current physical on file or presented to me on the first day of practice.  All other paperwork must be turned in before the first meet.  Each athlete must participate in a minimum of 9 practices before competing in a meet.
