I am Susan Holliker and I can be reached by phone (327-2820) before and after school, and sometimes between the morning and afternoon classes (11:00-12:00}. My extension is #15 if you get into the answering system.
I can also be reached via e-mail. In an effort to control spam, staff e-mail addresses are not published on our websites, but it is listed in the the school directory you will receive, and is available on request if you don't already have it. I hand out a contact card at the beginning of the school year. Please contact me if you haven't gotten one. Our classroom concepts are on my preschool website.

General Information
My name is Susan Holliker and I moved here from Ohio in 2002 where I earned my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. I have 2 children, my son, Keith and his wife live in Ohio and just had their first baby, a son in June. They are both members of the Ohio Air National Guard. My daughter Dana and her family live in Fountain where my 2 granddaughters go to school.
My assistant is Daycie Jackson, Ms. Daycie. Daycie has 2 children. We have been working together for 3 years.
Our preschool program will be using the Creative Curriculum in the classroom. This is a research based program that we feel is best suited for our instructional needs. I am play based and theme based which means that I incorporate themes into my daily planning. I base my themes on the calendar and student interests.
Arrival/Dismissal Routines
Classes begin at 8:00 and 12:00 and end at 11:00 and 3:00. Before school begins please wait with your children outside the classroom until the teachers open the doors. Parents must be with their children on the playground. Parents must always sign their children in and out of the classroom. The sign in/out book is by the door by the cubbies. Children must be picked up promptly after school or children will be taken to the office to wait to be picked up.
My daily classroom schedule is:
8:00 and 12:00 Doors open, table activities
8:30 and 12:20 Opening circle
9:00 and 1:00 Centers
9:50 and 1:50 Clean-up, storytime
10:00 and 2:00 snack, clean up and independent reading
10:20 and 2:20 gross motor (recess outside, weather permitting)
11:00 and 3:00 dismissal
