BOXTOPS FOR CASH
Don't forget to collect Boxtops for Education - they are worth 10-30 cents each for GCE and can be found on many of your favorite products. Simply drop them in the big, pink box in the GCE front office. Call Jody Green at 632-5392 for more information.

GOLD CAMP ELEMENTARY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We need your time and talents!

Art in A Suitcase:
This is the 26th year of an amazing program that brings special curriculum-based and out-of-the-ordinary art projects into YOUR childre's classroom.  We still need volunteers for Mrs. Parker's PM Kindergarten, Mrs. Hackman's 2nd Grade, Mrs. Legg's 5th Grade, and Mr. O'Day's 6th Grade.

Classrooms:
Reading, Math, Science, Writing, Special Projects, Teacher Helper, Art in a Suitcase, Room Parent, Holiday & Other Parties, Field Trip Chaperone

Staff/Specials Classes:
Front Office, Library/Media Center, Art Shows, Jump Rope for Heart & More…
The Front Office is looking for a volunteeer to help with catalog sorting, and the library is looking for volunteers to help enter new books, check in and check out books, shelve books, and label books.

Other ways to spend a little extra time at Gold Camp
Attend class parties, plays, band & musical events
Eat lunch with your child(ren) weekly or on another routine
Attend recess with your child(ren)
Attend PTo meetings (every third Wednesday of the month at 8:15 a.m.)
Attend Parent Education Events and General Social Events

Who Can Volunteer: Parents, extended family adults, and older siblings are invited to share in any of the many volunteer opportunities at Gold Camp which can range from one time events to more regular activities.

Why Volunteer? Gold Camp exists for the students.  Involvement by parents, extended family adults, and older siblings helps make Gold Camp a better place for all.  Experience shows that your child will appreciate your involvement and you will have a better connection with your child, your child’s school programs, friends, and teachers.  Give it a try!!!
