Hello,
The New Year is right around the corner and your children have een working hard.
This week we are introducing the vowel sounds of "y".
In our Word Work we will stress segments or the sounds in words. The concept in reading is compare and contrast. We will be looking at how things are similar and different. In Grammar, we will look at action verbs in a sentence. Our writing the next two weeks be about story elements.
During Math, we will focus on addition facts to ten and start subtraction. We will address properties of solids and liquids in our Science kit. In Social Studies, we will focus on holidays of the season.
