Mrs. Sandoval 4th Grade Homework for the week of:  August 25th - 29th DAY ASSIGNMENTS Monday Math - Homework 1.3 and Practice 1.3 Spelling - Packet is due by Wed. and test is on Thurs.  The packet must be complete and students must know the meaning of the words.  Along with a packet, they have a notebook piece of paper practicing the VCCV pattern and syllabication.   For the test they will need to choose 10 words and write a paragraph that makes sense.  They will also be tested on the additional 15 words. Southwest test will be on Thurs. Book orders are due on 8/28 Parents/guardian must sign the planner nightly to assure that ALL work has been completed. All work is to be completed in their neatest work and with their best effort put forward.  Planners need to be checked and signed. TUESDAY Math Sheet Homework pg. 1.5 and math book pg. 17 and 18, numbers  8 - 32 evens Copy into model notebook, the story of "Our Hometown Custom." They are to rewrite this and bring back the original sheet.  This is an example of what is expected of them for the spelling test on Thursday.  They will also need to know how to spell all of the words correctly.   Contact form from front office due with signature Book Orders due by Thursday.  This is a great way to get cheap books at a great price. Southwest test is on Thursday.  They will need to know the states and capitals along with some rivers and landmarks.  This information will be given to them. WEDNESDAY Students are to study for the Southwest test.  Follow study guide given to them. Study for Unit 1 math test on place value Study for Spelling test, all 25 words and be able to put 10 of them into a well-written story.
