Homework
Homework will be given every night except for the weekends. Students should have forty minutes to one hour of homework each night. Students are expected to read 20 minutes a night.  Homework is intended to be a reinforcement  of what is taught daily in school.

Missing Assignments
If a student misses school, they will have one day for every day absent, starting the day after their return, to make up the work. A student will lose 10 percent per day for every day an assignment is late.

Planners
Daily planners are expected to be filled out every day by students with the assignments of the day.  Parent initials indicate that homework is finished and checked for completeness.

Report Cards
Report cards are a measure of your child's academic progress throughout the school year.  Each child is graded on individual ability in accordance to state and district standards.  Report cards are meant to be a tool for growth of your child.
