Lock DownAnnouncement made over the PA. All perimeter doors and windows are locked, no one comes in, no one goes out. All classroom doors and windows will be closed and locked to prevent entry. Practiced 2 x per school year. Fire Drill Fire alarms are sounded. Teachers take children to designated safety area away from the building. Designated staff members check for students in bathrooms, etc. and escort them to classes outside. Class rosters are taken with teachers to check and make sure that all students are accounted for. Practiced 4 x per school year.
EvacuationPlanTeacher gathers crisis packet and walkie talkie. Everyone will exit the building as directed by Crisis Team and/or Emergency Personnel and walk with the children as directed to Broadmoor Glen Park or Safeway.
