Math Olympiad is a national problem solving math enrichment program that meets once a week on Wednesdays. Students participate in 5 Math Olympiad Contests throughout the year. It is a great learning experience for those that enjoy a good math challenge!

Science Olympiad events are the 6th grade science curriculum for first quarter. Once students have completed the contests in their science class, the top participants are invited to join the Skyway Science Olympiad team to compete against other Cheyenne Mountain elementaries in December. Mrs. Chisesi will coach students in their events in preparation for the district Olympiad. More information will be sent out once we get started.

Battle of the Books is a city wide contest in the spring for 5th graders. Fifth grade students will take a test on 40 books to determine the Skyway Teams. Start reading those 40 books! (See your 5th grade teacher for a list and more information.)
